kirri Keyholders — Program Terms

Last updated [[DATE]]

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the kirri Keyholders program. By using a Keyholder discount code issued to you, you accept them.

Your own commission rate, your audience’s discount and the number of sales needed to reach Partner are set out in the emails we send you, not in this document. See section 7.

2. Who we are

The program is operated by [[LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME]] (ABN [[ABN]]), trading as kirri, of Ground Floor, 36 Regent Street, Richmond VIC 3121, Australia.

You can reach us at [email protected] or on 1300 731 680.

3. Eligibility

To be a Keyholder you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • hold the account or channel you post from, or have permission to post from it;
  • not be an employee or contractor of kirri or of [[AGENCY_ENTITY_NAME]]; and
  • be [[resident in Australia / able to receive payment in the way described in section 8]].

We accept Keyholders at our discretion and may decline an application without giving a reason.

4. Your code

If we accept you, we issue you a discount code that is yours alone. You may share it with your audience as widely as you like, within the limits in sections 10 and 11.

  • Your code gives your audience a discount at checkout on houseofkirri.com.au.
  • Your code is valid until 31 December 2026 unless we extend or replace it. We’ll tell you before it ends.
  • Codes are personal. Don’t transfer, sell or share your code with another creator.
  • We may replace or reissue your code if it’s misused, leaked or needs changing for a technical reason. We’ll tell you if we do.

5. How commission is earned

Commission is tracked automatically. You never submit a claim, send us a list or report a sale.

  • A sale counts when a customer completes an order on houseofkirri.com.au with your code applied at checkout.
  • Commission is calculated on [[COMMISSION_BASE]].
  • Commission accrues on orders placed on or after 12 October 2026. Orders placed before that date, including orders placed with your code before the program began, don’t earn commission.
  • Commission is confirmed once the order is no longer eligible for return or cancellation.

If a customer doesn’t enter your code, there is no commission, even if they bought because of your post. The code is the only thing the system can see.

6. What doesn’t earn commission

  • Orders that are cancelled, refunded or charged back. If commission was already credited, it’s reversed.
  • Your own orders. You keep your discount — buy whatever you like — but a purchase by you, or by someone in your household, doesn’t earn commission.
  • Orders where your code was applied through a method in section 11.
  • Orders we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, artificial, or arranged to generate commission rather than to buy a product.
  • [[Orders where another discount or promotion was applied — confirm whether codes stack in Shopify]]

7. Rates and thresholds

Your commission rate, your audience’s discount and the number of sales needed to reach Partner are set out in the emails we send you when you join and when anything changes. They are not reproduced here, because they’re program settings rather than terms, and a number printed on this page would eventually be wrong.

We may change them. If we do, we’ll tell you by email before the change takes effect, and the change won’t affect commission you’ve already earned.

8. Getting paid

[[SECTION 8 IS BLOCKED. DO NOT PUBLISH THIS PAGE UNTIL IT IS WRITTEN.]]

Needs: who pays; how often and on what date; any minimum balance; the payment method; whether an ABN must be quoted and what happens if it isn’t; GST treatment and who issues the invoice or RCTI; and what happens to an unpaid balance when a Keyholder leaves or a code expires.

9. Posting and disclosure

When you post about kirri using your code, you must make the commercial relationship clear to your audience — a visible statement that you earn a commission, or that the post is a paid partnership, in the post itself, not only in a profile bio or a comment.

This is your obligation under Australian Consumer Law and the AANA Code of Ethics, and it protects both of us. If a post doesn’t disclose, we may ask you to edit or remove it.

10. What you must not say about kirri

kirri sells fragrance for the home. It is not a therapeutic product, and claims that it does something to a person’s health are prohibited by Australian therapeutic-goods law.

So, in any post, caption, story or video using your code, don’t claim or imply that a kirri product:

  • treats, cures, prevents or relieves any illness, condition or symptom;
  • helps anyone sleep, reduces stress or anxiety, aids concentration, or affects mood as a health outcome;
  • is safe to apply to skin, inhale directly, ingest, or use around a pregnancy, an infant or an animal, beyond what the product label itself says.

Describing how a scent makes a room feel is fine. Describing what it does to a body is not.

You also must not state a discount, price or offer we haven’t given you, claim to speak for kirri, or present yourself as a kirri employee or representative.

11. Where your code must not go

Your code is for your own audience. It must not be posted to, or submitted to:

  • coupon, voucher, deal or cashback sites and apps, or browser extensions that surface codes at checkout;
  • bargain forums, deal subreddits, or groups whose purpose is sharing discount codes;
  • paid search or shopping ads, including ads on the terms “kirri”, “House of Kirri” or any kirri product name, or on houseofkirri.com.au;
  • marketplace or resale listings; or
  • any site or account that isn’t yours.

A code on a deal site stops being a creator’s code and becomes a public sitewide discount. If that happens we’ll deactivate the code immediately, and commission on orders placed through it isn’t payable.

12. Brand and content

Our material. We may give you photographs, video, logos or copy. You may use it to promote kirri while you’re a Keyholder. You may not alter our logo, use our material for anything else, or pass it to someone else.

Your material. You keep ownership of everything you make. By posting content that uses your Keyholder code, you give us permission to [[CONTENT_LICENCE]].

13. Suspension and ending

You can leave at any time — email [email protected] and we’ll deactivate your code.

We may suspend or deactivate your code, and end your participation, if you breach these terms, if your code is being misused, or if we close the program. Where it’s reasonable to do so we’ll tell you first.

If your participation ends, [[what happens to commission already earned but not yet paid]].

Ending your participation doesn’t affect sections 10, 11 and 12, which continue to apply to posts that are still up.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We’ll post the updated version here and email you if the change is material. Continuing to use your code after that means you accept the change.

15. Your information

We collect your name, contact details and the sales your code generates, so we can run the program and pay you. We hold it in our customer platform and our store systems, and we don’t sell it.

For more on how we handle personal information, see our privacy policy.

16. No employment relationship

Being a Keyholder doesn’t make you an employee, partner, agent or contractor of kirri. You decide what you post and when. You’re responsible for your own tax.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [[STATE]], Australia.
